WESTOVER MEMORIAL PARK:
Our firm prepared a Master Plan for the renovations to the 2.35 acre 'Duck Pond' area at Westover Memorial Park in Augusta. Adding facilities for 144 crypts, 264 nitches, 80 site baby interment section, scattering gardens and pond, funerary art gardens, enlarging and renovating the duck pond, adding a waterfalls & stream bed along with a fresh landscape approach. |
PENDLETON KING PARK:
Davis Design Group was commissioned by the Pendleton King Park Committee to develop a Master Plan for this existing 64 acre Park located in the heart of Augusta. The plan took advantage of the unique topographic and wetland features that had been unused. The plan included a dog park, and outdoor aviary, enhanced disc golf course, wetland boardwalk & nature viewing stations, nature trail & enhanced playground. Along with the amenities already existing at the park. |
HICKORY HILL FARMS:
The Watson-Brown foundation – Thomson, Georgia Hickory Hill is the third residence of Tom Watson. The house was restored to its 1921 appearance, the year Tom Watson died. The adjacent property was renovated to connect the existing facilities and buildings and provide destination areas to lead the visitor through these unique amenities. |

WATSON-BROWN FOUNDATION:
The Watson-Brown foundation – Thomson, Georgia The ‘foundation’ property includes the birth house and first house of the late Tom Watson. The property is the headquarters of the Watson-Brown Foundation. This six acre facility is open to the public and was designed to be an invitation to enjoy and learn about the Watson-Brown Foundation and its mission commitment to education. In addition to the two historic buildings, this property includes two ornamental garden pools, three ornamental ponds, an outdoor cooking pavilion, a restroom facility, a gazebo shelter and parking. |
GUIDO EVANGELISTIC GARDENS:
A seed for the sower – The Guido Evangelistic Association – Metter, Georgia ‘A seed for the garden of your heart’ is the opening tag line for each of the Association’s 60 second broadcast tapes. These gardens are the home of the Guido Evangelistic Association and Dr. Michael & Audrey Guido. The Guidos were the first to produce a one-minute inspirational spot for television, and now it is shown on more than 1,500 television stations that reach all seven continents. In addition, the Guidos produce a weekly, camera-ready newspaper column for 1,600 newspapers and send devotional materials to a mailing list of more than 35,000. All of this is written, printed and distributed with no charge. |

WANDA HUTCHINS FISHER MEMORIAL:
The City of North Augusta – North Augusta, South Carolina Located on existing John C. Calhoun Park property downtown North Augusta, South Carolina this facility was developed as a collaborative effort between the City of North Augusta and Mrs. Nita Denny. Mrs. Denny memorialized her sister, Wanda Hutchins Fisher, and enshrined a pair of Mrs. Fisher’s bronze shoes in an ornamental iron gazebo as Ms. Fisher was known to most as ‘the woman who walked’ and will forever be remembered in this public park. |
BROOKFIELD GATEWAY PARK:
Richmond County Recreation & Parks – Augusta, Georgia This park is located in Richmond County, Georgia near the Columbia County line and was envisioned as a ‘gateway’ into the county. It is visible from busy Riverwatch Parkway with a featured on-grade interactive 30’ fountain.
